We have chosen 9Cr18MoV steel for our starter kit usinga high-end stainless steel from China rated equally 440C steel used to manufacture durable, precision scissors,and is recognised for its remarkable hardness HRC 58-60,superior edge retention, andbetter corrosion resistance than 440C steel, thanks to its high carbon and chromium content. The chemical composition of this type of steel also consists of Manganese, 1.3% Molybdenum, 0.6% Nickel, 0.04%,and 0.12% Vanadium. The design of the blades and handles are exactly the same as our Premium series Scissors.
